GRAE Building in Catalonia Reaches Structural Completion Milestone
The project “Module – GRAE Mountain Rescue Building”, promoted by LEU – Generalitat de Catalunya (Spain), continues to advance successfully and has reached a key milestone in its execution: the completion of the building’s structural framework.
This phase represents an important step in the project’s development, as it already allows the visualization of the final volume and configuration of the future infrastructure designed to support the operations of the Special Actions Group (GRAE) of the Catalan Fire Department.
The following images show the current status of the project following the completion of the structure:
The new facility is designed to provide functional and operational spaces adapted to the needs of a unit specialized in mountain rescue, which carries out interventions in complex and hard-to-access environments.
With the structure now completed, the project moves into the next phase of execution, which will include:
-
- Installation of external enclosures
- Development of interior spaces
- Integration of technical systems
- Adaptation of the building’s operational areas
This progress reflects the continuous advancement of the project and represents another step towards the future commissioning of a strategic infrastructure aimed at strengthening mountain rescue operational capabilities in Catalonia.
Further updates will be shared as the project continues to progress.
