It has been a pleasure and an honor to work together with Fokker Services Group on this Wide-Body Hangar project at their headquarters in Hoogerheide, Netherlands. The construction was completed at the end of May 2023, and we are pleased to share the final video summary of the construction process that began in October 2022.

The new Hangar is 6.000 m² / 64.500 ft² and has the capacity to accommodate aircrafts such as the Airbus A330, Airbus A350 or Boeing 777, and is now operating. It has been studied to allow high energy efficiency and equipped with floor heating and cooling systems powered by electricity. To allow the material transport and maintenance operations on aircrafts throughout the hangar, one overhead crane suspended from the main structure was provided.

In a second phase, photovoltaic solar panels will be installed on the rooftop, reducing the dependency of the Hangar on external energy sources. Our technology is prepared not only to support the weight of the photovoltaic panels, but also snow and winds, typical of the climate in this area.
