Gaptek celebrates an emotional teambuilding event at Zaragoza Air Base
The Gaptek team had an unforgettable day during their visit to the facilities of Hangar A400M of Ala 31, at Zaragoza Air Base, one of the most emblematic projects carried out by our company.
The day began with a few words from our president, Tomás Feliú, who expressed his deep gratitude to the Colonel Chief of the 31st Wing, Francisco José Vela García, as the representative at that time of the Air and Space Force, for the trust placed in Gaptek to develop a project of such magnitude as the infrastructure for the A400M fleet of the 31st Wing.

“This hangar not only represents a technical milestone for our company, but also a sign of the commitment, innovation and trust that the then Air Force had in Gaptek,” said Feliú, pointing out that this was the first large-scale project executed by Gaptek, marking a before and after in our trajectory.
During the event, a characteristic piece of our aluminum structures, such as those used in our hangars, was presented as a token of gratitude. Col. Vela was in charge of receiving this gift on behalf of the EA&E. For its part, the 31st Wing also presented Tomás Feliú with a gift as a souvenir of the visit, which reaffirms the good relationship between the two entities.
The visit continued with a tour of the facilities built by Gaptek: the A400M hangar, the engine workshop and the warehouse, an experience that allowed the team to get a real sense of the impact and magnitude of our projects.
One of the most exciting moments of the day was the opportunity to get a close look at an A400M aircraft, understand how it works and visit the A400M flight simulator developed by Airbus.
The official visit ended with a vote of thanks to the Base General for allowing us to carry out our activities and for the always sincere welcome we receive at the Base. General Soria received a gift from Gaptek in recognition of the continuous support of the EA&E.
The day ended with a meal where the whole team shared their impressions, reinforcing their pride in belonging to a company that promotes projects of high strategic value.
This “teambuilding” not only strengthened our internal bonds, but also allowed us to celebrate the progress made and the achievements attained, looking forward to the next challenges with enthusiasm.
