We recently had the honor of participating in an official trip to Ukraine, the Mr. Enrique Grauellera, Sales Director of GAPTEK Defense Division, recently participated in an important official Spanish trade mission to Ukraine. This mission, led by Spain’s Minister of Economy, Trade, and Business, Carlos Cuerpo Caballero, took place on June 27, 2024, in Kyiv.

The trade mission, jointly organized by the Spanish Ministry of Economy, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, and the Spanish Embassy in Ukraine, brought together a select group of Spanish companies to explore collaboration opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Spain and Ukraine

The main objectives of the trade mission were:

1. Strengthening bilateral relations between Spain and Ukraine, especially in the economic and commercial fields.
2. Exploring collaboration and business opportunities between Spanish and Ukrainian companies.
3. Analyzing the current situation and needs of Ukraine, particularly in areas of critical infrastructure.
4. Participating in the Ukrainian-Spanish Business Forum, which served as a platform for exchanging ideas and creating connections between participants from both countries.
5. Exploring possibilities for Spanish participation in Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts.
6. Discussing opportunities in key sectors such as critical infrastructure, energy, rail transport, construction, and services.
7. Establishing contacts and relationships that could lead to future collaborations and joint projects.
8. Showing Spain’s support and commitment to Ukraine in its economic development and reconstruction process.

During the visit, Mr. Grauellera had the opportunity to participate in the Ukrainian-Spanish Business Forum, where he interacted with key stakeholders from both countries. The forum focused on critical areas such as infrastructure, energy, and defense, perfectly aligning with GAPTEK expertise in providing solutions with substantial advantages like climate protection, EMI, CBRN, ballistic protection, as well as all necessary equipment for such installations and rapid, sustainable assembly.

As part of the Defense Division, Mr. Grauellera’s presence underscores GAPTEK commitment to supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts and exploring potential partnerships in the defense sector. Our company’s unique construction system, known for its sustainability and energy efficiency, could play a crucial role in Ukraine’s infrastructure reconstruction and modernization.

We extend our gratitude to the mission organizers, including the Spanish government, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Embassy, for facilitating this valuable opportunity. The knowledge gained and connections established during this visit will undoubtedly pave the way for future collaborations between GAPTEK and Ukrainian partners.
