Hangar Expansion In Burns Flat, Oklahoma USA
Gaptek and Premium Aerospace Center (PAC) starts to carry out the extension and adaptation of the hangar located in Burns Flat, Oklahoma, USA.
This first phase of the project is focused on expanding the current PAC hangar. The new hangar will measure 60 meters wide, 20 meters long and will be 16 meters high. The design of the extension has been studied at Gaptek’s architecture and engineering department to provide a solution in harmony with the previous installation.
In addition, the new expansion will allow the full entry of Boeing 767-300 aircraft, providing full protection to the same aircraft and improving the working conditions. The remodeling of the hangar also includes a study on improving the energy efficiency of the building through state-of-the-art panels which will reduce energy consumption.
This is the first phase of a larger project that also includes the conversion of maintenance hangars to paint hangars, adjoining offices and new facilities.
