Inside Sales Representative Junior

ABOUT EMPLOYMENT:

Inside the sales area, we are searching An entry level professionals, preferable with technical background in an engineering degree with the appetite for developing a career in the Sales Department of the Aeronautical Division of Gaptek. Position will be reporting directly to the Sales Director of the Aeronautical Division. The location of the role is Barcelona (Spain).
About your experience: Not necessarily required, although +2y would be preferable in the Aviation sector (airports, consultancy, airlines or MROs). Alternative experience in sales departments of the industrial / construction sector would also be considered positively.

TASKS:
Full-time position to assist in the commercial activities of the Sales Department of the Aeronautical Division of Gaptek, supporting mainly the sales growth in the following regions: Europe, Middle East and North America, and worldwide

• Proactive contact of existing client base and potential clients, maintaining updated records on the Gaptek’s customer relationship management (CRM) portal.
• Provide administrative support to the Regional Sales Representatives and the Sales Director when required. Specific tasks will be allocated on a daily basis to meet customer needs and demands.
• Provide support to the identification of leads for new opportunities and assist in the review of incoming documentation, preparation of presentations and proposals for prospective clients.
• Organise meetings, prepare agendas, participate and take minutes for meetings as directed by the Sales Director.
• Maintain accuracy and ensure that deadlines established by the Sales Director are met.
• Develop and maintain various company information systems up-to-date, e.g. CRM, databases, spread sheets, ensuring that information is recorded adequately.
• Raise orders to the Financial Department to process invoices.
• Support the preparation and attend to business tradeshows internationally when required.

Keep abreast with the latest market developments and coordinate business development efforts with the Marketing Department.

SKILLS:
• Spanish native, English fluent. Other European languages is a plus, preferably French.
• Business acumen.
• Proactive individual.
• Team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and responsive to changes.
• Organised individual with abilities to manage a CRM system.
• Results-oriented person.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time (mostly within Europe, sometimes overseas).
• Ability to develop and undertake professional presentations.
• Good literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

We offer Competitive salary subject to candidate’s qualifications and proven experience/skills. Fixed salary.
