Gaptek’s newly established U.S. office, operating under the name Gaptek USA, is strategically located at 4850 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 301, Naples, Florida, 34103. The U.S. operations are led by Jason K. Brooke, Gaptek’s Vice President of North America, who brings extensive experience in the defense, aviation, and infrastructure sectors. Through its thematic and technical structure, it allows key players in the sector to locate specific and reliable solutions for their operational and logistical needs.

The commemorative event, held at the company’s stand during the fair, was honored by the presence of General Francisco Braco Carbó, Chief of Staff of the Spanish Air and Space Force (JEMA), as well as institutional representatives, high-ranking defense officials, and executives from leading companies in the sector. Gaptek had the honor of participating in MRO Europe 2024, held on October 23 and 24 in Barcelona.

The MRO Fair is a key event on the aerospace industry’s calendar, focusing on the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sector, where suppliers, manufacturers, and industry professionals gather. Its emphasis is on the maintenance, repair, and operations of aircraft, showcasing the latest innovations and technologies that help optimize these processes.

The fair brought together over 10,000 professionals and 450 exhibitors from the aviation supply chain, creating a conducive environment for knowledge exchange and new business opportunities.

Gaptek was present at MRO Europe with a 36m² stand #2126, where we showcased our turnkey solutions for aeronautical buildings as well as for defense. We received numerous visitors, including clients, representatives from the Ministry of Defense—Army, Air Force, and Space Force—along with suppliers and potential clients. The Team Building dynamic consisted of a series of fun activities that promoted more coordinated teamwork, facilitated communication between teams, developed skills, and enhanced team cohesion and creativity among all participants.

On January 1st 2024, GAPTEK joined the Association of Contracting Companies with Public Administrations – AESMIDE, in the Area of Infrastructures, equipment and facilities.

AESMIDE was founded in 1984 with the aim of acting as an interlocutor for service and supply companies with the Spanish Ministry of Defence. Today, it brings together more than 70 Contracting Companies with the Ministry of Defence, as well as with other Public Administrations in Spain and other States. It is a non-profit Association whose main purpose is to promote its associated companies, fostering and defending their capabilities in the national and international market.

AESMIDE is a multisectorial Association in which its companies are mainly specialised in the supply of diverse goods and services, with experience in the development of operators that solve outsourcing projects with the maximum efficiency and savings possible. It advocates transparent contracting that upholds the principles of maximum publicity, concurrence, as well as quality and balance in contractual services. It defends actions aimed at protecting SMEs and promotes interrelation between the companies in the Association.
