GAPTEK, we are looking for a technical profile of an Industrial Engineer to join our R&D&I division. The candidate should have around 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial environments, engineering, construction companies, etc., specializing in Design, Analysis, and Calculation in civil engineering structure projects, metallic structures, concrete, etc., with knowledge of both national and international regulations.

High level of English. Other languages, such as French, will be highly valued.

TASKS:

MISSION: Drive innovation and maintain market competitiveness. The role focuses on researching new technologies, materials, and processes that improve the company’s products and services.

• Research of New Technologies: Identify and analyze technological advances in the modular construction sector, such as new sustainable materials, assembly techniques, automation, and process digitization.
• Development of Innovative Solutions: Collaborate in the design and development of innovative modular products and solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and quality in the company’s projects.
• Process Optimization: Propose and lead the implementation of improvements in production and construction processes, aimed at reducing costs, execution times, and environmental impact.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and marketing teams to ensure that innovations are viable and applicable in real projects.
• Prototype Evaluation and Certification: Develop and test prototypes of new products or processes, ensuring their reliability and compliance with current regulations.
• Technological and Competitive Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on sector trends, competitors, and improvement opportunities, fostering an innovation culture within the company.
• Innovation Project Management: Participate in managing R&D&I projects, from idea formulation to execution and result evaluation.
• Monitoring innovation projects with public institutions.
• Definition of new profiles and material systems for projects.
• Definition of new materials, identifying key partners, and establishing collaboration levels.
