Gaptek Participated in MRO Europe 2024
Gaptek had the honor of participating in MRO Europe 2024, held on October 23 and 24 in Barcelona.
The MRO Fair is a key event on the aerospace industry’s calendar, focusing on the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sector, where suppliers, manufacturers, and industry professionals gather. Its emphasis is on the maintenance, repair, and operations of aircraft, showcasing the latest innovations and technologies that help optimize these processes.
The fair brought together over 10,000 professionals and 450 exhibitors from the aviation supply chain, creating a conducive environment for knowledge exchange and new business opportunities.
Gaptek was present at MRO Europe with a 36m² stand #2126, where we showcased our turnkey solutions for aeronautical buildings as well as for defense. We received numerous visitors, including clients, representatives from the Ministry of Defense—Army, Air Force, and Space Force—along with suppliers and potential clients. Our participation allowed us not only to demonstrate our capabilities but also to explore new collaboration opportunities and establish valuable connections with other industry professionals.
During the fair, we had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with attendees interested in our solutions. The positive interactions and contacts made reinforce our commitment to excellence and innovation in the aerospace sector.
Coinciding with the fact that this was the first time the MRO Europe Fair was held in Barcelona, Gaptek organized a gala on the evening of the 23rd at the Torre de Collserola, under the theme “Gaptek, Committed to the Decarbonization of the Aviation Sector.”
This gala was a special occasion where we shared a networking space among clients, industry entities, public sector representatives, suppliers, and friends, aiming to reaffirm our positioning as a Catalan company with international presence in the aerospace sector. Additionally, we aimed to highlight the industrial origins of the country and introduce Barcelona and Catalonia as an investment zone for international aerospace industry sectors.
Among the guests, we were honored to have Joan Romero i Circuns, Executive Director of ACCIÓ / Catalonia Trade & Investment, who joined us during the event and delivered a very inspiring speech about Gaptek and our role in the sector. His presence was a significant recognition of the importance of the aerospace sector in Catalonia.
Attendees enjoyed catering, live music, and an environment conducive to creating closer bonds among professionals. The Torre de Collserola, standing at 115 meters high, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable night with its spectacular views of Barcelona.
