Gaptek Partners up with ATS Technic LLC to launch New Facility at Dubai South
Hangar is scheduled for completion during the first quarter of 2025.
Gaptek, a leading design & build industrial company specializing in turnkey industrial solutions for aeronautical buildings, (hangars, MROs, shelters, paint hangars, workshops, cargo terminals, etc.) is supporting ATS Technic LLC to build its facility at Dubai South.
ATS Technic LLC, a premier provider of line maintenance and logistics services for various aircraft types and models, and the first independent EASA maintenance organization in the UAE, signed on 6 March 2024, a significant agreement with UAE – Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) for this venture. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in the expansion of ATS Technic LLC’s operations in the Middle East. Notably, it represents a significant milestone for ATS Technic LLC as it embarks on its first hangar construction endeavour.
Gaptek will spearhead the design, production and construction of the new facility for ATS Technic LLC. The pre-engineered solution will comprise a cutting-edge dual-bay narrow-body hangar, strategically situated in a Code C plot at Dubai South.
The state-of-the-art facility will be fully equipped to perform heavy aircraft maintenance activities. An adjacent facility distributed in two levels will also be constructed to accommodate office space, workshops, and stores.
Due to the long-proved tracked record and efficient construction methodology of Gaptek, it will be possible to build the hangar in a lead time of just over 25 weeks upon the design phase is completed. ATS Technic LLC expects this hangar to enter operations in the 2025 H1
