Job Description:
An MEP engineer is a professional specialized in the calculation, design, and sizing of technical building systems known as MEP, which stands for:

• Mechanical: HVAC systems, ventilation, heating, cooling, etc.
• Electrical: electrical installations, lighting, power systems, telecommunications, etc.
• Plumbing: water supply, drainage, gas systems, fire protection systems, etc.

The MEP engineer ensures that these systems comply with technical, regulatory, and functional requirements by performing calculations to properly size pipes, ducts, cables, equipment, and other components, guaranteeing the efficiency and safety of infrastructures.

We are looking for students to join our MEP calculation department from the following academic backgrounds:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering
• Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering

Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:

• Projects for building and industrial installations
• Technical resolution of construction details
• Control and coordination of contractors. Measurement control.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop plans and technical specifications for installations, including electrical, hydraulic, HVAC systems, etc.
• Receive requirements and ensure their application and compliance in the project
• Apply regulations and standards in projects
• Management and planning in a BIM environment (MEP)
• Basic Project (management of reports, measurements, and drawings)
• Executive Project (management of reports, measurements, and drawings)
• Construction phase (assembly drawings and support from office to site), site visits
• Management of graphical and technical documentation with suppliers and engineering teams responsible for the project
• Measurement control related to the completed project and data entry in Microsoft software
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all installations comply with applicable local, national, and international standards and regulations.
• Quality Control: Implement and supervise quality control procedures to verify installations meet established standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports related to installations, including maintenance records and project status updates.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical and operational issues that may arise during installation or maintenance of systems.

Requirements:

• Final-year student in Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Intermediate to advanced English level.
• Analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems.
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
